High StrungOver the past month, I have managed to read quite a few books. However most of them were ones that I hadn’t said I planned to read last month. This was mainly due to the fact that I became addicted to the Power Station series by T Gephart. They were amazing and I devoured them on after another. It has been a while since I have instantly loved an author, but Gephart has now went on my “Instant Read Series.”

EchoI also read Echo by E. K. Blair, which I’ve been anticipating since I finished Bang. It was well worth the wait. This really is a dark series and doesn’t leave you with the warm fuzzies, but there is something really compelling about it that makes you want to read more. The last book Hush still has to get a release date, but once again I am on tenterhooks to see where this will go.

The Virgin - Tiffany ReiszAnother book that I was eagerly waiting on was the latest instalment of Tiffany Reisz’s The Original Sinners: The White Years, The Virgin. However, unlike Echo, I was left slightly disappointed with this one. With only one more book to go till the end of this series, I still have hope that The Queen will leave the series on a high.

Right now I am reading two books; Beautiful Liar by Tara Bond and Tracer by Rob Boffard. Both are very different genre’s but I am enjoying them. Beautiful Liar is looking to be a great contemporary romance book and I am really liking the main character. As for Tracer, it is filling the void left since the TV Show, The 100, has finished. I’m just under half way through the book and though I don’t know what he bigger picture is, I am really drawn in. Look for the reviews soon.
